You will learn to how improve your communication and teambuilding skills through a variety of fun and effective tools that identifies strengths and further develops leadership and innovation competencies.</span></p> <p><span><strong>Learning objectives:</strong></span></p> <ul><li><span>Identify and leverage your individual strengths in a way that can help you reach your full career potential.</span></li> <li><span>Learn strategies for building teams that can help you increase your influence in the water sector.</span></li> <li><span>Learn empathetic leadership skills to be able to recognize and comprehend the needs and emotions of others.</span></li> <li><span>Learn how to productively and intentionally interact and network with people to achieve your strategic goals, gain new insights, and work effectively in teams.</span></li> </ul><p><span><strong>About the guest speaker:</strong></span></p> <p><span>Karen Kun is Director and Co-founder of <a href="https://waterlution.org/"> Waterlution</a>, an internationally recognized water-focused organization offering distinctive capacity building, leadership and facilitation training to spark and mentor innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs in the water and climate change space. </span></p> <p><span>Karen is devoted to advancing social change, systems thinking, and ecological diversity, and one of her greatest passions is encouraging inter-generational learning and transferring knowledge through mentorship opportunities. She has a combined business-environmental background, including a commerce degree from Concordia University specializing in international business and an advanced geography education from York University, with a focus on water and environmental management. </span></p> <h2><span><span><strong>Qualify for the WaterLeadership Certificate</strong></span></span></h2> <p>A WaterLeadership certificate of completion will be issued to those who attend all four modules and complete the corresponding assignments.
