Dr. Mark Servos receives 2024 CEW Outstanding Contribution Award
The Water Institute proudly congratulates Dr. Mark Servos on receiving the 2024 Outstanding Contribution Award from the Canadian Ecotoxicity Workshop (CEW), Canada鈥檚 leading annual event in the field of ecological toxicology and related disciplines.
Formerly known as the Aquatic Toxicity Workshop (ATW), CEW recognized Dr. Servos for his exceptional and enduring contributions to Canadian ecotoxicology. This prestigious award highlights his significant impact on advancing ecotoxicological science in Canada. The award ceremony took place at the CEW on October 9, 2024, in downtown Kitchener, Ontario.
In his remarks, Dr. Servos shared a few key insights with attendees, encouraging collaboration, adaptability, and optimism in tackling future environmental challenges:
