Linda Wang quickly pivoted her work last spring to help develop technology to detect COVID-19.
Wang, who will receive her master鈥檚 degree in systems design engineering this week, helped create COVID-Net, now an open-source tool designed to聽screen coronavirus cases from chest X-ray images.聽
She built one of the first neural networks to predict if a person鈥檚 X-ray contains COVID-19 and how far has the disease progressed.
