Dorota Kupis is a PhD candidate conducting her research under the supervision of Dr. Susan Neylan. Dorota investigates the 1970-1990s Fish Wars in British Columbia, a series of conflicts between Indigenous nations and the state over fishing rights and resource control. Beyond her PhD research, she has strong interests in environmental history, social justice, and the history of Poland.
