Schedule of Events for ��ݮ��Ƶ Engineering

10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Engineering Information Fair: admissions, co-op, EngSoc, Women in Engineering, and program booths (E7 2nd Floor)
10:00 am - 4:00 pm: Student Design Team Fair (Sedra Student Design Centre E5)
10:00am - 4:00pm: Faculty of Engineering Tours (departing from E7 IDEAs Clinic - pre-registration required)

Plan your day to discover where a career in engineering can take you. If you're applying, we hope this event will help you determine which engineering program is right for you.

You'll have access to our helpful professors, students, staff and alumni who can answer your questions and get you connected to the information you're looking for.

Join the Hack the North Organizer Open House to meet current organizers and Hack the North alumni to learn about their experiences organizing Canada's biggest hackathon!

We'll also be answering any questions that you may have regarding organizer applications, so don't be shy to say hi!

We're looking for post-secondary students to join the 2021 Hack the North team to plan and execute a global event that makes it easy for students to dream big and build incredible projects!

There are open positions available for the following teams:

- Backend Team

- Marketing Team

- Sponsorship Team

- Finance Team

NB If you are a student, faculty member or staff member participating in the Capstone Design Symposia, we encourage you to take preventive measures such as avoiding shaking hands and touching your face along with frequent and thorough handwashing as outlined by Health Canada. We will post information about precautionary measures during Capstone events and will provide further spread prevention resources as necessary throughout the symposia.

Please note that external guests have been asked not to attend the symposia this year and are encouraged to instead check out the project abstracts posted online and watch for photos from the events.

Biomedical Engineering's Capstone Design Symposium will showcase the latest biomedical innovations from final year Engineering students. Students will present and discuss their research from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with visual aids and tactile materials or prototypes to illustrate their research." src="/engineering/profiles/uw_base_profile/modules/contrib/wysiwyg/plugins/break/images/spacer.gif" />

Systems Design Engineering's Capstone Design Symposium will feature 19 uniquely ingenious projects including an application to help students find compatible roommates and a device that evaluates posture while exercising.
