International Women's Day (IWD) on March 8 is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also brings attention to various issues affecting millions of women worldwide, including gender-based discrimination, violence and inequality. It’s a moment to recognize how far we’ve come while acknowledging the work we still need to do to achieve full inclusivity and empowerment.
