Award description: 

One or more scholarship(s), valued at $4,000, are awarded annually to an outstanding student(s) entering the School of Pharmacy at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, who demonstrates financial need. This fund is made possible by a generous gift from Dr. Frank and Mrs. Juliana Wong. As residents of the region, and with Frank a practising family physician, they were motivated by their desire to promote and develop local pharmaceutical and health care.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 
  • full-time undergraduate students entering Year One in the School of Pharmacy in the Faculty of Science
  • restricted to Ontario residents (as defined by OSAP), with demonstrated financial need (based on UW full-time bursary program need assessment)
  • selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum 80% average)
