An award, valued at $1,000, will be provided annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of Computer Engineering or Software Engineering who will be participating in an international study or co-op work experience. Candidates must have a minimum cumulative average of 80%. Preference will be given to students travelling to an unfamiliar country where they will experience a different culture. Interested students must submit the general UW International Experience Award application by November 15. This fund is made possible by a donation from Chad Bayne and his family to encourage students to pursue an international experience.

The University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
