It’s gearing up to host an international conference this fall that will bring together researchers, industry professionals and students to discuss the increasingly serious business of playing games.

The students at the Stratford Campus put on quite the show last night for local residents.

A showcase featuring the cutting-edge technological initiatives of those enrolled in the Master of Digital Experience Innovation was on display.

Though this year’s Canada 3.0 digital media conference was relocated to Toronto, Stratford was recognized for hosting the event’s inception by being chosen to hold the first Canada 3.0 Youth Program on Monday, May 13.

For most students, years spent in university or college aren’t about making money.

Tuition is the biggest financial commitment for students, but rent, textbooks and other expenses all add up as well.

Part-time jobs, summer employment, student loans and scholarship all help students afford the post-secondary life, but sometimes it’s still not enough.
