When investors logged in to Y Combinator’s virtual summer 2020 Demo Day, they saw ݮƵ entrepreneurship in action. OpenUnit, a company founded by Stratford School alumni, took part in the event, among three other ݮƵ/ startups. Y Combinator brought together a class of 198 founders from 26 different countries.

A team of Global Business and Digital Arts students developed Virtuous Waste, an alternative to plastic packaging made of seaweed that they pitched before a panel of industry experts and social entrepreneurs on June 19 in Toronto.
