Undergraduate Co-op Student
Holly Smale is a third-year undergraduate co-op Planning student at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. She was employed under the supervision of Ian Rowlands during the Winter 2017 term, working on the research project 4.6: Social Acceptance of Energy Storage Systems. Holly conducted primary research assessing the general public’s knowledge and acceptance energy storage projects at the community level. A web-based survey was conducted in Kitchener/À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ to gain a better understanding of the public’s general knowledge, awareness, and opinions on energy storage. The results of this study are available in the project Working Paper 2017-02, "A gap analysis: Community acceptance of energy storage projects".
