Hey Shads,ÌýI’m Kayvan and am excited to join you this summer as a first-time Program Assistant! My post-secondary journey began at SHAD MUN ’19, where I first learned about the Knowledge Integration (KI) program at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. Feeling inspired, I chose to pursue KI for my undergraduate studies, combining it with Science and focusing on molecular biology.ÌýOver the past four and a half years, some of my favourite courses dealt with the philosophy of science, mathematical modelling of biological systems, and bioinformatics. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work as both a teaching and research assistant and the fortune to study abroad.
Outside of academics, I prioritize balance and wellbeing through activities like swimming, going to the gym, and spending time in nature. In the evenings, I enjoy cooking, journaling, and relaxing with my dog.ÌýWhether you have questions about your educational path, want to explore your interests, or simply need someone to talk to, I’m here as a resource and support :)
