 participants will be\nprovided with the skills and resources needed to int
 ervene when they\nsee harmful\, or potentially harmful behaviour including
  racism\, sexual\nviolence\, or other forms of harm. Training will take pl
 ace in the\nScience Teaching Complex (STC 0050) from 12-1:30PM on TUESDAY\
 , OCTOBER\n17TH. \n\nUsing an Equity focused lens\, the objectives of thi
 s training are to\nhelp participants:\n\n* Understand and define microaggr
 essions\, harassment and harm\;\n * Recognize the complex roots of these n
 ormalized oppressions\;\n * Identify personal obstacles and barriers to in
 tervening safely and\neffectively\;\n * Learn how to safely and effectivel
 y apply the 5D Active Bystander\nModel\n * Recognize that everyone has a r
 ole in creating a safe and\nanti-oppressive campus.\n\nActive Bystander In
