Sean McLay

MSc Candidate (Graduated Fall 2022)

Co-supervisor: Adam Yates (Biology)

Research Interests

Sean is an MSc candidate investigating the effects of upgrades made to the Kitchener and À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ wastewater treatments plants on their receiving waters (Grand River) using benthic macroinvertebrates as a bioindicator. By exploring benthic macroinvertebrate assemblages as upgrades were integrated at the treatment plants, associations can be made between the onset of the upgrades and changes in the assemblage.
