National Indigenous Peoples Day creates, with great intention, on this day of Solice, the space to consider with awe and humility, the Indigenous peoples: Inuit, Metis, and First Nations, and the generations of history and ancestry of these lands. National Indigenous Peoples Day occurs during the Summer Solstice, a time of renewal, connection, and celebration.
This is an image of beautiful Seneca bead-work, depicting a hear with strawberry leaves, with which I wish you a wonderful Summer Strawbery Solstice!

National Indigenous Peoples Day can also be an invitation to learn!Â
The Yellowhead Institute has an amazing virtual LanbBack course - important learning about Indigenous sovereignty, renewal, and connection.
Wishing you a reflective celebration of Summer Solstice and Indigenous Peoples Day.
Warmly,
Trish
