Welcoming Lana Paton as Chair of the Director’s Advisory Council 

We are proud to welcome Lana Paton (BMath) as the new Chair of the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) Advisory Council. A distinguished alum and respected leader at PwC Canada, Lana brings over three decades of industry experience and a powerful commitment to mentorship, innovation, and giving back. As a trailblazer in the accounting and finance sector and a passionate advocate for future generations, Lana’s leadership promises to guide SAF through a dynamic new chapter. Her appointment reflects not only her professional achievements but also her deep connection to the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ community. We are excited to move forward under her inspiring direction. Ìý

Growing the Efrim Boritz Doctoral Scholarship in Emerging Technologies 

In a meaningful tribute to an extraordinary career, we announced the creation of the Efrim Boritz Doctoral Scholarship in Emerging Technologies established in part by Douglas Johnson (MAcc’85) to support future doctoral students at SAF. This fund ensures that his legacy of fostering academic growth and innovation will continue to benefit generations to come. Ìý
