SUSM PhD ²õ³Ù³Ü»å±ð²Ô³ÙÌýAnkesh Siddhantakar is receiving a high level of interest regarding his research on the sustainability of helium resource. Ankesh has been utilizing tools in sustainability management, specifically industrial ecology, to analyze environmental and resource aspects of the noble gas.

Universities Canada just announced the recipients and Navya Nair is one of the 25 recipients. Navya is also the only recipient from the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ.
Researchers at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ studied 38 municipalities in Ontario, representing more than two-thirds of the population, and discovered that almost all municipalities publish their sustainability and climate change goals, but under half are formally reporting on their progress.
Dr. Amelia Clarke has been working on environment and sustainability issues for decades.  She is currently a professor in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED).

It was a winter break to remember for two University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ students.
Emily Meissner and Millie Balmer are completing a placement in Kampala, Uganda, as part of the United College and Faculty of Environment-run International Development (INDEV) program that sees students complete an 8-month oversees placement, facilitated by the World University Service of Canada.
Launched by the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and ICLEI Canada, the Municipal Net-Zero Action Research Partnership (N-ZAP) is developing resources to support Canadian municipalities to monitor, measure, report and achieve climate action.
Congratulations to Kwaku Owusu Twum for winning Fall 2023 Velocity Pitch competition on 30 November 2023. Out of 109 student entrepreneurs, 24 were selected for the semi-finals and Kwaku is one of the four finalists to receive $5000. His winning project Mapmate is a SaaS-based platform that enables food processors to seamlessly connect to small farmers.
In their recent book published by Cambridge University Press (2023) on Liability for Environmental Harm to the Global Commons, Neil Craik, Tara Davenport, and Ruth Mackenzie examine emerging and prospective international legal rules addressing liability for environmental harm to areas beyond national jurisdiction.
