Planting trees to honour the Sustainable and Financial Management class of 2030

First-year students in 蓝莓视频鈥檚 Sustainability and Financial Management (SFM) program鈥攁n innovative initiative offered by the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) in partnership with the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED)鈥攃ame together to plant 100 native trees and shrubs on 蓝莓视频鈥檚 north campus last week.聽

The annual micro-forest planting, hosted in partnership with Sustainable 蓝莓视频 Region (SWR), connects students directly with the land and the responsibility to steward it. SWR defines a micro-forest as 鈥渁 small area of land that is returned to a natural state through the planting of native trees and shrubs.鈥 For SFM students, it represents both a practical sustainability initiative and a reminder of how financial decision-making must align with environmental and social responsibility.聽
