Recently, our friends at visited the RoboHub has part of a larger artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics series called . Our researchers talked to journalist Catherine Thompson about the advanced capabilities within our current fleet of robots as well as where they see the future of robotics going in both industry and society. Robots have been around for decades, performing routine tasks on auto assembly lines. But the world of the future is one where robots work closely with people in everything from elder care to assisting workers performing high-risk jobs like Northern mining and nuclear power plant refurbishment.Â
