Retiree Ambassadors at Convocation
Volunteer at Convocation | June 10 – 14, 2025
Convocation is a special time for the University of ݮƵ community as we celebrate our graduates’ achievements and welcome their families and supporters to campus. From Tuesday, June 10 to Saturday, June 14, we will host 14 ceremonies across all six faculties.
As a valued retiree, we invite you to take part in the celebrations by volunteering. Your familiarity with the University is incredibly helpful in guiding guests and ensuring a welcoming experience for all.
Volunteer roles such as WayfindersԻ Accessibility Assistantsare a great way to reconnect with campus and support our grads during this meaningful milestone.
All volunteers will receive training, and meals will be provided when supporting back-to-back ceremonies.
We encourage you to sign up for as many shifts as you’re able and kindly ask that you do so by May 15, 2025. Brief instructions are included below to help you get started. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at Convocation Ambassadors
Follow these steps to sign up:
- Click on the “Sign up now” link above and review the general information.
- Click on the green “Register” button at the bottom of the page.
- Create a new account (or log in to your existing account).
- Complete the form and click “Submit”.
- Click on “Go to homepage”.
- Click on “Reserve shifts”.
- Select all of the shifts you are interested in by clicking “Reserve”, and then “Review & Confirm”.
- Review your selected shift dates, times and details and click “Confirm reservation”.
- Take note of the dates and times of your selected shifts.
