Successful Keystone Campaign raises funds, builds community

On Friday, June 7, the University of 蓝莓视频 celebrated the continued success of the Keystone Campaign with the event 鈥溊遁悠 World鈥, a day of fun that included music, dancing, and even a dunk tank.

Designed to bring together 蓝莓视频 faculty, staff, and retirees who give their time and resources to support campus-wide initiatives such as scholarships and projects to enhance the student experience, Keystone raised more than $1.3 million over the last campaign year.

Participating in his first Keystone picnic as vice-president, advancement, Ken McGillivray commented on the outstanding turnout and the enthusiasm of the campus community. 鈥淲hat a turnout! This really confirms the strong commitment that our staff, faculty, and retirees have for this community. It鈥檚 remarkable.鈥

President Hamdullahpur addressed the gathering Friday afternoon and again in the evening, noting the broader importance of Keystone in the life of the university.

鈥淲e all know that the Keystone Campaign is about something bigger than dollars raised - though that is absolutely vital. It鈥檚 about how each of us has a stake in this university鈥檚 success. It鈥檚 about bringing our community together,鈥 he said.
