Renison University College, an affiliated institution at the University of 蓝莓视频, on Tuesday, May 7 expanded to meet the needs of its growing programs.

鈥淚n celebrating the East Side Extension today, we remember, of course, that we are celebrating more than just bricks and mortar,鈥 said Feridun Hamdullahpur, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of 蓝莓视频. 鈥淲e are celebrating the bright future that this institution continues to build for itself, and for the community it serves.鈥
Said the president later in his remarks, 鈥淚n building that future, Renison continues to move from strength to strength 鈥 and like all of us here this afternoon, I delight in its every success.鈥
The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Honourable David C. Onley, graced the university campus with his presence, and participated in the expansion ceremony in keeping with the strong, historical links between the Lieutenant Governor鈥檚 Office and Renison University College.
In 1962, the Honourable J. Keiller MacKay, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario from 1957-1963, laid the corner stone of Renison鈥檚 Founders Building.
鈥淲e were delighted to have President Hamdullahpur with us to not only celebrate our continued development, but to welcome the Queen鈥檚 representative to Renison University College, once again,鈥 said Dr. Glenn F. Cartwright, Renison鈥檚 Principal and Vice-Chancellor.
