PhD research

Develop synthetic protocols for metal containing supramolecular nanomaterials using organometallicsmall- andmacro- molecular building blocks. The research involved organic andorganometallic syntheses, self-assembly, and material engineering for versatile potential nanotechnology applications. The PhD researchendowednew discoveries in the field of aggregation-induced functions including, aggregation-enhanced IR absorption (AEIRA), aggregation-induced emission (AIE) and aggregation-induced laser trapping, for metal-carbonyl building blocks.
