Current research

I'mcurrently mainly working onthe pragmatics of racist, sexist, and deceptive speech, particularly focusedon political discourse. (This keeps mevery busy these days!). I'malsoworking on a joint project with the UK Statistics Authority on misleading useof statistics. Icontinueto be involved in various efforts todiversify academia, including ongoing involvement with the BritishPhilosophical Association/Society for Women in Philosophy's Good PracticeScheme.
