Current research
My research focuses on understanding the mindÌýthrough large-scale neural modelling. My lab built the world's largestÌýfunctional brain model, 'Spaun'. Understanding the representations,Ìýcomputations, and dynamics of biological systems leads to newÌýcharacterizations of related philosophical topics addressing concepts,Ìýlanguage, experience, mental representation, computation, embodiment and soÌýon.
