Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest\, established in\n1974 by the dir ectors of the C. Henry Smith Trust\, offers PACS\nstudents an opportunity to discuss peacebuilding and social justice\nissues on campus. The interco llegiate competition is administered by\nthe Peace and Justice Ministries of the Mennonite Central Committee\n(MCC). Undergraduate students from eve ry Mennonite and Brethren in\nChrist college in North America\, including Canada\, are eligible to\nparticipate. \n\nHenry Smith was an American Me nnonite historian and professor at\nMennonite colleges and the University of Chicago.
