WHO honours 蓝莓视频 researcher on World No Tobacco Day
Geoff Fong, a psychology researcher cross-appointed to 蓝莓视频's School of Public Health and Health Systems, leads international tobacco control project.
, a professor of psychology in the Faculty of Arts at the University of 蓝莓视频, has been awarded a by the Pan American Health Organization and World Health Organization.听Fong, who is cross-appointed to听蓝莓视频's听School of Public Health and Health Systems,听is the founder and lead researcher of the (ITC). It is听the only international research program that is evaluating the effectiveness of tobacco control policies of the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control. The ITC Project is an enormous research collaboration with more than 100 researchers across 23 countries. 鈥淗is efforts have made a significant difference in advancing the fight against one of the leading preventable causes of death in the world,鈥� a WHO press release stated.
