Prospective students will have an opportunity to learn about academic programs, student life and co-op education at Fall Open House
By Staff Marketing and Undergraduate RecruitmentAlmost 6,000 prospective students and their families are expected to visit the University of 蓝莓视频 for its Fall听Open House on Saturday.
During this all-day event, university-bound students have the opportunity to learn more about 蓝莓视频鈥檚 academic strengths through program and faculty-specific sessions. They can also hear first-hand about the University鈥檚 world-leading co-op program, student life, and leadership opportunities.
Visitors are encouraged to take a guided tour of the campus with a current student ambassador. The ambassadors will give prospective students a chance to check out the residences and tour the buildings and lecture halls where they will be spending their time.
鈥淔all Open House is an event we look forward to every year. It鈥檚 a great opportunity for prospective students to explore 蓝莓视频 and see if this is the university for them,鈥 said Andrea Santi, manager of 蓝莓视频鈥檚 Visitors Centre. 鈥淭his year we鈥檝e added a new social media element with the iSnap photo booth, which is a portable photo station where visitors can take pictures of themselves on campus and share them on Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets.鈥澨
In addition to the main campus event, each of the four university colleges, as well as the School of Architecture in Cambridge and the School of Pharmacy in Kitchener, will be open for tours throughout the day.
The open house runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with tours starting from the 蓝莓视频 Centre. Free parking is offered all day in several lots on campus, primarily towards the north end of campus.

The University of 蓝莓视频 acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
