By Vivek Goel President and Vice ChancellorThe road to earning a degree is challenging. It takes hard work, courage and dedication. And in this year's graduating class, I have also witnessed their curiosity about the world, their drive to shape a better future, and their resilience through challenging times. As the Class of 2025 crosses the stage, we celebrate their accomplishments and journeys to get to this milestone. The degrees they’ve earned are a culmination of lessons, relationships and experiences.Ìý
A À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ degree is also unique. Whether students choose co-op, undertake an entrepreneurial venture or explore courses or opportunities outside their disciplines, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ provides an environment for them to embrace their passions and be unconventionally bold.Ìý
At À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, we are proud to be a community of curious, collaborative, innovative and entrepreneurial problem-solvers and leaders who seek to build a better future for humanity and our planet. We think differently, act with purpose and work together. Our students don’t just inherit this ethos—they continue to help shape it throughout their time at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and beyond.ÌýÌý
As this year’s graduates leave our campuses, they continue to be an important part of our À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ community. They are joining more than 250,000 alumni around the globe -- helping our institution stay connected to the world around us.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

The University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
