The Global Citizen Internship program provides students in the Faculty of Environment with hands-on experience with a non-profit.

In the non-profit sector, generally there isn鈥檛 sufficient funding to hire students. I believe it鈥檚 important to make co-op internships accessible to everyone.

Thanks to donor Sheryl Kennedy (BES 鈥�76), Planning student Jacklyn Iezzi spent her last co-op term working for Habitat for Humanity Wellington Dufferin Guelph (WDG). Jacklyn received practical experience that she鈥檒l take into her career, but her time with Habitat was also very rewarding. She grew up in the local community, and this co-op experience allowed her to help families in her hometown.
