 About the speaker

Donna Lero's recent research focuses on two themes:
- Understanding how to best support caregiving and work roles from the perspective of employees with caregiving responsibilities, employers and managers
- Strategies for accommodating employees with disabilities (including episodic disabilities) in the workplace
She co-founded the University of Guelph’s Centre for Families, Work and Well-Being, where she leads a program of research on public policies, workplace practices and community supports. Donna has authored or co-authored over 40 major reports and book chapters on a range of topics related to the integration of work and caregiving roles across the life course including parental leave, child care, caregiving for adults and aging family members, work-family stress, and flexible work arrangements.
