Dementia is a growing health concern in Canada as population age. While the average lifespan is 80 years, health span is only 65 years, leaving many seniors with chronic diseases and conditions, including dementia. ​
AI can help in early detection of dementia and, most importantly, empower individuals at any age to reduce their risk through lifestyle changes.​

Emeritus Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.
Prof Elmasry is a renowned international expert in Artifical Neural Networks and is a member of the International Group on AI Safety.Â
At 81, he is the author of two recent books:
