Biography
Omar obtained his BEng in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He then finished his MASc from MME department in Nanotechnology at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. Prior to joining IQC, Omar worked as an Electro-Optics Lab Researcher at Prince Sultan Advanced Technology Research Institute, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is now a PhD student at the MME department and jointly at IQC in Nano-Photonics and Quantum Optics Lab, under co-supervision of Prof. Michal Bajcsy and Prof. Mustafa Yavuz.
Omar is a former director at the Saudi Council of Engineers (Industrial Engineering Chapter). He is also a recipient of King Saud University Award for Scientific Excellence in 2014.
