Community Gamelan Workshops

The Community Gamelan is acollaborative learning and music-making experience on an ensemble of bronze instruments from the island of Bali. Open to any interested community members, playersparticipate in a satisfying group music-making experienceand learn about another culture and its music at the same time. These are a repeat of the Oct 15 workshops.

It is taught without notation, which means the students have to memorize their parts.
