The U��ݮ��Ƶ Jazz Ensemble will perform a mix of jazz standards from Gordon Goodwin, Count Basie, Wayne Shorter, Duke Ellington, and more.�� Directed by well know percussionist Michael Wood, the ensemble consists of 20 UW��jazz aficionados.����

Selections include Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 (The Unfinished); Smetana’s The Moldau; Brahms’ "Academic Festival Overture"; Saint Saëns’ "Bacchanale" from Samson and Delilah; ��Massenet’s "Meditation" from Thaïs (violin soloist Lila Huang); Mahler’s Adagietto, from Symphony No. 5.

Dramatic, tragic and yet indescribably beautiful -- Bach's eloquent St. John Passion, with brilliant tenor Lawrence Wiliford as the Evangelist. Don't miss this Good Friday tradition! Presented by the��Grand Philharmonic Choir and the U��ݮ��Ƶ Chamber Choir.�� Directed by Dr. Mark Vuorinen.

In Bali, the Gamelan is traditionally played out of doors.�� In that spirit, our Spring concert will take place at ��ݮ��Ƶ Town Square.

Music has long been a constant companion to many aspects of the human condition. It can invite people to dance or offer comfort in times of distress; it can be used in reverence of God, or offer commentary on life’s great joys and tribulations. Just as “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens”, there is music to accompany it all. This semester’s program explores some of these “times” through classical and contemporary composers alike, including music by Mendelssohn, Haydn, Copland, McGlynn, and Emery.

The music��for��this concert is��a collection of enchanting and beautiful compositions��from all over Europe and England.�� The incomparable Beethoven wakes us to the evils of politics, dishonesty, and murder in his dramatic overture to Coriolan.�� A fitting overture for an election year...

Join us for the final graduation recital of Jerry Liu, baritone on Sunday, July 22 at 5:00pm in the Conrad Grebel Chapel. All welcome.
