Join us for a highlight of the Winter term, the 22 member jazz ensemble concert.Ìý Directed by Michael Wood, the Jazz Ensemble plays a wide range of jazz standards and newer compositions. This term the ensemble is featuring the music of Quincy Jones, Wayne Short, Rob McConnell, and more.

I Dewa Made Suparta is a musician, composer, and teacher born to a family of artists in Pengosekan, Bali, Indonesia. Immersed in Balinese gamelan from early childhood, he began performing with the children’s group of his village at age 10.Ìý

Take a journey through sound with a pairing unlike any other! Duo Tubello explores the lush and unexpected soundscape where the worlds of brass and strings collide. Typically only playing together in the orchestral setting, this husband-wife ensemble was born during the pandemic. Since the lockdown, they have enjoyed curating and arranging selections from the tuba and cello repertoires that showcase the beauty and lyricism of both instruments.
