From the individual person to the population, the Mental Health and Addictions Policy and Systems Research Group aims to optimize the health system for those with mental health and addiction needs.

• Support prevention and early intervention;  

• Evaluate emerging programs and policy, and; 

• Generate new knowledge to support better decisions in healthcare and policy. 

We are a group of health services researchers and evaluators focused on improving health systems related to mental health conditions, substance use, and addictions across the life span. We have interests in:  

• interRAI Assessment System 
• Health services research, particularly psychiatric services and continuing care 
• Health equity, healthcare performance, access and utilization
