Administrative history: In 1906, the Mennonite Conference of Ontario recommended the "organization of a Peace and Arbitration Association in each congregation for the circulation of Peace Literature and for advancing the cause of non-resistance in every legitimate way..." The committee ceased to function in 1922.

Members appointed by the Conference were: S. F. Coffman (1907-1909, 1916-1920), N. Stauffer (1907-1909), David Bergey (1907-1909), Anson Groh, (1910-1922), L.J. Burkholder (1910-1911), Absalom B. Snyder (1910-1911), F. W. Schisler (1910-1922), Leonard W. Hoover (1916-1922), Lewis S. Weber (1921-1922).
