Dr. Vern Paulsen is a Professor in the Department of Pure Mathematics at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in 1977. Prior to joining the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ, he was a Professor at the University of Houston.

Vern's research interests are operator algebras, operator theory, frame theory, reproducing kernel hilbert spaces, quantum computation and quantum information theory.
