Calling all University of ��ݮ��Ƶ graduate students, graduate alumni, administrators, and faculty in engineering! You are invited to a workshop discussing the Gender Differences in ��ݮ��Ƶ Graduate Engineering Student Experience, on January 25, 2021, from 1-4:30pm (ET). All genders are encouraged to participate.

Featuring a keynote presentation by Mary Wells, PhD, Dean of Engineering at the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ, the workshop will follow up on a survey distributed to University of ��ݮ��Ƶ graduate students during Fall 2019 - Winter 2020. The purpose of this workshop is to share the results of this survey, and to discuss methods and next steps to enhance the graduate engineering student experience. Breakout groups will discuss topics such as student support and resource availability, among other themes.

This workshop is hosted by an interdisciplinary team of researchers from the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ and York University. Our joint team has been investigating gender differences in engineering for the past few years, focusing on strategies for improving student retention.

The survey and this workshop were funded by a University of ��ݮ��Ƶ Gender Equity Research Grant as part of the University of ��ݮ��Ƶ’s HeForShe IMPACT 10x10x10 initiative.
