A new Student Engagement Committee initiative - #TattooTuesday - has been and in University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ's Daily Bulletin.
Devised by MLIS co-op student Michael Myers, the social media campaign has users send in photos of their favourite tattoo. A 'tattoo taskforce' of 9 Library staff then analyzes that tattoo to come up with the perfect book recommendation from our . Both images are then shared on for all to see.
Inspired by , the unique service plays on the idea that tattoos on the surface can reveal something deeper about us - a concept also explored in . So far, the Library has received submissions from students at À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and Laurier, À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ staff members, and members of the community.
