The Journal of Integrative Research & Reflection (JIRR) is a free undergraduate student journal published by the Department of Knowledge Integration at the University of 蓝莓视频.
JIRR was created by Knowledge Integration students and facilitates the growth of the undergraduate cross-disciplinary community by bringing people together.

KI student Karissa Manning, Computer Science student Greg Maxin, and Justin Doyle, a social work graduate and advocate for accessibility created a software solution called RocketCare to optimize scheduling and appointment booking practices for therapeutic and support services for children and youth with a wide range of complex needs.

KI student Hannah Gardiner sent us news about her conference participation:

"Last week, I had the privilege of presenting at the Scholarship of Undergraduate Literary Studies (SOULS) Conference at Bishop鈥檚 University. Surrounded by other undergraduate students passionate about their own research 鈥 who likewise took keen interest into everyone else鈥檚 鈥 it was not hard to be motivated.

Hannah Gardiner, 4th year KI student, has been invited to present her paper 鈥淎cademic Writing and Standard English鈥 at the Scholarship of Undergraduate Literary Studies (SOULS) in March 2019 at Bishop鈥檚 University in Quebec. She notes that "As a KI student 鈥 and neither an English minor nor major 鈥 being asked to present an English essay is not only an honour, it also supports the notion of an interdisciplinary education: that one need not focus their studies exclusively in one discipline to be able to meaningfully contribute as a young scholar."
