KI professor John McLevey supervised the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ iGEM students in their project to map the collaboration network of teams that participated in the 2015 iGEM competition.

Following the analysis, they were able to generate a list of recommendations to improve knowledge and resource sharing, aiming to increase the quality of science in future competitions.  Dr. McLevey worked with both their Mathematical Modelling and Policy & Practices sub-teams to guide them through social networks research.  The image on this page is a visualization of the collaboration network.

The À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ iGEM student team represents the university in the International Genetically Engineered Machine competition which calls for projects surrounding synthetic biology.
