Before the World Stopped
Before COVID-19 stopped the world, Joe Kwan was able to complete some travel as a part of the Staff Enhancement Experience (SEE) Canada Grant. Joe will share his experiences collaborating with peers in web and app development at other universities. He will provide insight into the grant itself, including what motivated him to pursue the grant, as well as walk you through the process. Finally, Joe will tell you a little about what it was like travelling right before the pandemic stopped the world.
Speaker Bio
Joe Kwan has over 20 years of experience in the web and software development industry, and is currently the Manager, Web Development in Information Systems and Technology where he oversees development of both the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Content Management System (WCMS) and Portal. Joe has been with the university for six years, and prior to his role in IST, was the Manager, User Experience and Information Architecture in University Relations.Ìý
