How will this program benefit you?
This international educational experience, offered through collaboration between the the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Institute of Nanotechnology, À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ International, and Renison University College, will immerse you in hands-on learning and research in medical and nanotechnology. By participating in this program, you will be part of a vibrant, interdisciplinary environment that enhances your skills, fosters creativity, and prepares you to become a more proficient and engaged global citizen. Ultimately, this experience will enrich your academic journey and make you more work-ready.
What will you do?
This comprehensive program includes:
- ³¢±ð³¦³Ù³Ü°ù±ð²õ:ÌýDelivered by WIN members, senior PhD students, and post-doctoral fellows, covering topics such as smart and functional materials, connected devices, next-generation energy systems, and advanced therapeutics and theranostics
- Lab and Facility Tours: Students will tour state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities at the Quantum-Nano Centre, gaining firsthand experience with cutting-edge research equipment and techniques
- Startup and Incubation Facilities: Participants will visit startup and incubation facilities, learning about the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ and how to translate research into commercial ventures
- Industrial Company Visits: The program includes visits to industrial companies, providing insights into how nanotechnology is applied in real-world settings and offering networking opportunities with industry professional
- Showcase Your Skills: Students will have opportunities to demonstrate their skills and present their entrepreneurial ideas through the hackathon, receiving feedback from experts and peers. This is an excellent chance to refine their ideas and gain valuable experience in pitching and presenting.
In addition to lectures and experiential learning opportunities, you will have the opportunity to test your strength at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ's rock climbing wall and and take in one of Canada's breathtaking natural wonders: .*

Where will you stay?
To help you immerse yourself in the diversity of the Canadian lifestyle, you will be housed in accommodations off-campus. Chaperones and adult guides employed by À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ International will accompany you, ensuring both safe and enriching experiences throughout the program.
