Join us for a hands-on workshop in which we explore the connection of cultural identities and language. Awareness and understanding of what shapes different cultural perspectives is an essential preparation for study, work, and research abroad and in Canada. There will be time to talk with professors and peers over lunch.

Are you speaking the same language? Language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are important for communicating with others, but effective communication requires more than just speaking the same language, it requires a fifth skill – cultural understanding.

Join us for some fun language games and activities!  Fun includes: Trivia Balloon Pop, Match the Map Geography Challenge, Memorizing Phrases Challenge, International Tongue Twisters, International Common Phrase + Food!
