Biography
Thompson earned his PhD from the Joint Programme for Theoretical Physics of the University of Western Ontario and then assumed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Reading in England. After further post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh and Los Alamos National Laboratory, he joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ in 2004.
