 \n\nJUAN BERMEJO VEGA\n\nA central question in quantum computation is to i
 dentify the resources\nthat are responsible for quantum speed-up. Quantum 
 contextuality has\nbeen recently shown to be a resource for quantum comput
 ation with\nmagic states for odd-prime dimensional qudits and two-dimensio
 nal\nsystems with real wavefunctions. The phenomenon of state-independent\
 ncontextuality poses a priori an obstruction to characterizing the case\no
 f regular qubits\, the fundamental building block of quantum\ncomputation.
