 U COVERED! \n\nThis Presentation will focus on the origin of what is know
 n as\n“Pow-wow\,\"  and how it came to be in North America and in the G
 reat\nLakes area. Gordon will also talk about what you can expect when\nat
 tending a Pow Wow\, including drumming\, singing\, dancing\, and\nassociat
 ed protocols. Whether this is your first Pow Wow or you've\nbeen on the Po
 w Wow trail for years\, there is something for everyone\nto learn. \n\nAB
 OUT THE SPEAKER\n\nGordon Nicotine-Sands is a fourth generation singer\, o
 riginally from\nBkejwanong territory\, and the Poundmaker Cree Nation in S
 askatchewan.\n The “Eagle Flight” singers (lead by Gordon) are a Firs
 t Nations\nsinging group based out of London\, On. and have been active fo
 r over\ntwo decades.  The group has travelled extensively in the Great La
 kes\narea(internationally on occasion) participating in festival-like\ncel
 ebrations known as “Pow-wow”.  “Eagle Flight” has also\nhonoured 
 invitations from professional and educational institutions in\nthe form of
  educational song and dance performances.  In addition to\ncreating and s
 haring traditional music\, Gordon also serves as an MC to\nmany winter cel
 ebrations in the Great Lakes known as “Round dance”\nwhich are trendin
 g cultural events that originated out west.  Gordon\nis a graduate of Fan
