Now that the AHS Expansion Building is complete, we will be giving the outdoor courtyard bordered by the AHS buildings a special anniversary makeover. </p><p> On June 5, AHS will host a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charrette">design charrette</a> to solicit ideas to enhance the landscape. A design charrette is an intensive design session during which members of the AHS community will collaborate on a vision for the courtyard space. This is your space. What form and function matter to you? How would you like to see this space evolve? </p><p> AHS students, staff and faculty are invited to attend this special exercise led by Professor Rick Haldenby of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµâ€™s School of Architecture. During this half-day event on campus, participants will be placed in design teams and work with graduate students from Architecture to develop their vision. The event begins at 11:30 with lunch (provided) and ends at 4:30 after group presentations. This will require a transformation, both of thinking and practice. What will this mean for public health and public safety?
